2Ltr Subaru Engine Conversion fitted into classic VW Bay window and split screens.
Volkswagen aircooled engine produces 1.6 lt engine = 50 bhp
With subaru engine conversion at 2.Ltr engine now produces 140ghp
FUEL ECONOMY – This depends on the gearbox, tyes size and your driving style but you can expect in the region of 30 mpg
The conversion takes around 2-3 weeks to fit.
You can keep and sell your old aircooled engine
Minimal body modifications are needed. Water ipework, wiring and engine mounts are fitted and require modification and slight variations for T25s.
Fellows Speedshop Subaru engine conversions can be fitted to lowered busses perfectly without clearance issues. special adjustments to sump and scoop are required.
You can use your existing gearbox but we can also give you a quote for a vw refurb box with longer diff or a Subaru gears box. Pleas email for quote.
We send you a service information sheet with your invoice or you can just return to us for your engine servicing and maintenance.
Any additional work can be carried out at £70 per hour plus vat and any additional parts needed.
