Our Customer Karl Frestel is selling his beautiful German 1979 Bay Window.
Bert came into the country in 2011 where he had a complete facelift to bare metal to Harvest Moon beige and cream, a full interior refit and new engine. He now has a Subaru 2lt with 140bhp water-cooled engine and lite steer power steering on LHD.
He is well travelled having visited France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scotland, wales and Cornwall. The pop up westy roof has been useful and the interior including vanwurks fit a 3/4 rock and roll bed, sink, fridge, hob and toilet.
A propex combi gas and electric heater keeps us warm including electric porches tombstone seats.

1971 Early Bay Westy in OG paint. – £7995 (Sold)
Texan import and overall a very solid bus. the orignal paint underneath is unbelivable bright and shiny like new. The underside is rock solid and rust free throughout.
It had a few rust issues when we imported it on the lower nose and around the window apature as seen in the picture. These have both now been fixed and paint blended in perfectly.
It comes with a complete but slightly scruffy westy interior and cushions.
Good running 1600 engine included with the sale.
Bumpers, glass and all external ancillaries are also included.
